What these tools do
Phone photos are large and come in mixed formats, so uploads often fail with "file too large" or "format not supported". These image tools shrink file sizes, convert between JPG, PNG and WebP, turn iPhone HEIC photos into standard JPGs, combine several images into a PDF, and export PDF pages as images.
Common scenarios
- Applications and forms: an ID photo must be under a certain size β cap the width and quality with the Image Compressor and you're done.
- Sharing iPhone photos: a Windows PC or a website can't open HEIC, so batch-convert with HEIC to JPG.
- Websites and blogs: convert images to WebP for faster pages and lower bandwidth.
- Photos to documents: combine photos of paper pages into one file with JPG to PDF, or go the other way with PDF to Image.
Why in the browser?
Family photos, ID pictures and screenshots often contain personal information. These tools process images locally using your browser's Canvas and open-source decoders, so nothing is uploaded. And because images are re-encoded, EXIF data such as GPS location is stripped, making them safer to share.
FAQ
Q: Are my images uploaded?
A: No. All images are processed in your browser, and no copy is kept after you close the page.
Q: How many images can I process at once?
A: There's no fixed limit; it depends on your device's memory. Dozens of photos are usually fine; for hundreds, work in batches.
Q: Will compressed images look blurry?
A: At around quality 80 the difference is hard to see, and combined with a width limit, files often shrink to a fraction of their size.
Q: Which formats are supported?
A: The tools read JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, BMP and HEIC, and output JPG, PNG, WebP or PDF.
