PDF to Image
Render every page of a PDF as an image. For documents with many pages, download them all as a zip.
How to use
- Choose or drag in a PDF file — its total page count will be shown.
- Pick an output format (lossless PNG or smaller JPG) and a resolution (1.5× / 2× / 3×).
- Click "Convert". Each page is listed as it's done — download pages one by one, or grab them all as a zip.
When it's useful
Dropping a PDF page into a slide deck or document; sharing a page in a chat app so it previews instantly; pulling figures out of a PDF for a presentation — all of these start by turning the PDF into images.
FAQ
Q: Which resolution should I choose?
A: For on-screen viewing, 1.5× or 2× is plenty. For printing or zooming in on details, choose 3× — but expect noticeably larger files.
Q: Will it be slow with lots of pages?
A: Rendering page by page takes a moment, and there's a progress bar. A document with a few dozen pages usually finishes in under a minute on an average computer.
Q: Can I convert an encrypted PDF?
A: PDFs with an open password can't be read. Please remove the password first.
Q: Are my files uploaded?
A: No, pages are rendered locally in your browser with PDF.js.
