Merge PDF
Combine multiple PDFs into a single file in the order shown below. Everything happens in your browser — your files are never uploaded.
Tip: password-protected (encrypted) PDFs can't be merged. Remove the password first, then try again.
How to use
- Click the area above or drag PDF files onto it. You can select several at once or add more later.
- Use "Up" and "Down" in the list to set the order — that order becomes the page order of the final PDF.
- Click "Merge PDFs" and the result downloads automatically as merged.pdf.
When it's useful
Combining a contract with its appendices into one submission, or joining thesis chapters, scanned receipts for an expense claim, or your kids' homework scans into a single file to send — these are the most common uses.
FAQ
Q: Are my files uploaded?
A: No. Merging is done entirely in your browser with JavaScript. Your files never pass through any server, and nothing is left behind when you close the page.
Q: How many files can I merge at once?
A: There's no fixed limit — it depends on how much memory your browser has available. Dozens of pages or files of tens of MB are no problem; for very large files, merge in batches.
Q: What if an encrypted PDF won't merge?
A: PDFs with an open password can't be read. Remove the password in the original app, save a copy, then come back and merge.
Q: Does it work on my phone?
A: Yes, it works the same in a mobile browser, though a desktop is more reliable for very large files.
